Pinafore Started

I have to knit a baby dress before December 21st for the charity auction I participated in. Here's my first picot edging I've ever done. I'm quite proud.

The pinafore pattern comes from the book, Simple Knits for Little Cherubs by Erika Knight. I'm using Elann.com's Sonata to knit it and am getting gage with the needles specified in the pattern.
